Quispamsis, New Brunswick, native Lori studied at the University of New Brunswick – Saint John and went on to the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University, where she graduated with a Diploma of Dental Hygiene in 1994. After graduation she worked in a dental practice in Saint John until she moved to Dartmouth in 2008.
Lori believes in continuing education to provide quality preventative and therapeutic oral health care. She is particularly interested in studying linkages between good oral health and good overall physical and mental health, and has enjoyed taking many courses in physiology and psychology.
A country girl at heart, Lori is happiest when surrounded by her beloved pets. She has a life-long love of horses, and has competed in the show jumping arena. Second to her love of horses is her love of motorcycles; she has been riding motorbikes since she was 5 and still loves to ride today.
Lori’s most amazing experience was when she went skydiving, and her favourite place on earth is Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky Ohio. Inside the office, Lori loves to laugh (it’s the best medicine ever) and her goal in life is to “Be somebody who makes everyone feel like somebody.”
